WHO WE ARE
Freedom 1 Foundation (F1F) is a US registered not for profit. F1F was created to engage in the development, and protection of democratic principles. Our activities are primarily focused in developing democracies. Our engagement specifically includes areas in civil governance and security.

An independent think tank, led by experts from various fields united to advocate for protection to fundamental human rights under the Lithuanian Constitution.
These are citizen soldiers. They are trained with support from the Ministry of Defense. (MoD). They support and work with MoD in times of state emergency or crisis. We are specifically is cooperation with the 6th Platoon, 8th Company at King Mindaugas’ 10th Riflemen Battalion within Lithuanian volunteer paramilitary organization – The Lithuanian Riflemen Union (LRU). All these citizen soldiers pass through the Basic Riflemen Training Course (BRTC), including all necessary training for combat and medical care in the field. Each citizen soldier is a non-paid volunteer. They are each responsible their respective gear and costs associated with their active and gainful participation.
The Foundation is aggressive in its stance against Human Trafficking. It is a Global issue with local impact. The best prevention is pre-awareness and information not to become a victim. We hold presentations and seminars to provide awareness and expose the threat of this criminal activity to society and humanity. We are also available to provide such support and assistance in the development of legislation.

WHY
1) new democracies – early stages of developing democratic institutional integrity;
2) Regional threat resulting from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. There is a Regional impact due to refugees entering the region. Historical threat as Russia aggressively and military threatens all the USSR’s former republics that includes the Baltic states.
